St. John's Church

The ancient Church of St. John the Baptist (known as the Monastery of St. John) in Saidnaya is one of the oldest and most ancient churches in the region, and local traditions and historical testimonies indicate that its historical roots may be older than the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Saidnaya itself.
