St. Dimitrius Church

The Church of Saint Demetrius in the village of Balat (known as the Parish of Mar Demetrius) is a venerable spiritual and historical monument located in the Wadi al-Nasara region. The church belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church (Akkar Archdiocese and its dependencies) and is considered an important spiritual attraction in the western Homs countryside.
