Sunset church

The Church of Kharab Shams is one of the oldest and most prominent historical basilica churches in northern Syria. It is located in the abandoned archaeological village of Kharab Shams, which stretches along the eastern slopes of Mount Lilon (Mount Simeon), and administratively belongs to the Afrin region in the northwestern Aleppo countryside.
