Cathedral of the Lady of Transition

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption for Syriac Catholics is located in the Aziziyah neighborhood of Aleppo, Syria. The Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Aleppo inaugurated the church on Palm Sunday in 1970, which fell on March 22, and the church was officially consecrated on May 17, 1970, by Mar Ignatius Anthony II Hayek, Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch.
