Bab al-Faradis

1- & nbsp; The fence is called Faradis & nbsp;1- One of the seven original gates of Damascus, it is now known as Bab al-Amara. It is now immersed in residential blocks and commercial markets. It is located on the northern side of the old city. It was built by the Romans and named after the planet Mercury. The gate was named after a neighborhood that was opposite it outside the wall called al-Faradis.
