Sadad

It is a historical town located 35 km southeast of the city of Homs, and is considered one of the old cities dating back to the first thousand before the birth. It became famous for its military and strategic importance, as it was a civilized center in that era. One of its most prominent historical features is a large tower, the accounts state that it was demolished during the Ottoman period.
