Baarin Castle

It is located west of Hama Governorate in Syria, 40 km from the city, on the road between Masyaf and Homs. The date of its construction dates back to the tenth century, on the basis of a Byzantine castle, with the possibility of ancient origins belonging to the Roman era. In the Ottoman era, residential buildings were added inside the castle, which still maintains some of its historical features.
