Qinnasrin

The charming archaeological city located in the southern Aleppo Plateau, was known in ancient times as "Chalis". The site is about 40 km from the city of Aleppo, and it was a majestic concentration for the Syriac Orthodox Church, as it contained a prominent Haute school. After the Islamic conquests, Qansreen became a strategic military point, linking the Euphrates basin and the Syrian coast. It is known today as its amazing location at the foot of Jabal Al -Eis, and its amazing effects are still attesting to its ancient history that extends for the years.
